Our project at the Mayfield Graves Senior Citizen's Center was a huge success, and we couldn't be more proud of what we accomplished together!
Thanks to an incredible group of hands-on volunteers, we built two beautiful raised garden beds that will bring so much joy to the center. These raised beds make gardening accessible for everyone—allowing seniors to plant, tend, and harvest comfortably without the physical strain of bending or kneeling. Gardening is such a fantastic way to boost mobility, enjoy fresh air, and nurture fresh produce for the center!
This project was a true multi-generational effort, and we have so many people to thank:
* The Graves County High School JAG Class & Mr. Mason: Thank you for bringing your hard work, leadership, and enthusiasm to the build!
* Our Homeschool Helpers: Your energy and dedication made the day so bright and productive.
* The Senior Center Clients: Thank you for digging in alongside us and sharing your wisdom and excitement for this new space.
* Our Community Volunteers: We couldn't do initiatives like this without your hands, heart, and time.
