Lauren Carr, Board Chair

A proud native of Mayfield and a Mayfield City Council member since 2021, Lauren believes that learning a trade or having access to the right tools can spark healing, hope, and a sense of self-worth.

With a deep commitment to community well-being, Lauren brings extensive experience from her career in public health. In her current role as Technical Advisor on Opioid Settlement Funds for Vital Strategies, she supports counties across Kentucky in their efforts to address the opioid crisis.

Through her work with SkillRise 270, she is focused on removing barriers and providing tangible opportunities for personal and community growth. Her goal is to ensure that everyone has the chance to develop skills that lead to a better future.
