Chris Wooldridge

Chris Wooldridge is an Instructor of Finance, Banking, and Economic Development in the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at Murray State University. He concurrently directs the Center for Economic and Entrepreneurial Development (CEED), focusing on regional outreach to connect the campus with the community to create jobs, wealth, and student learning opportunities.

Mr. Wooldridge has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial services community and over 16 years in business consulting and university outreach. He is a former entrepreneur and previously served as the District Director of the Murray State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC), managing consulting services across 24 counties of western Kentucky.

His expertise spans corporate lending, credit analysis, business restructuring, and corporate compliance. He holds his undergraduate and MBA from Murray State University and is a graduate of the Kentucky School of Banking, the Kentucky School of Insurance, and the Kentucky Institute for Economic Development, in addition to receiving his professorial teaching credentialing from the AACSB.
